These models were a precursor to the KH days and ran in parallel with the H series triples from around 1972 until 1975.

The engines sizes covered in this series as follows: 250cc, 350cc & 400cc

Please note some information on the S Series machines:

1972 S1 250: available in pearl white or Pearl Candytone Red with contrasting elaborate decals basically in the style same as the first H2.

In the UK Leeds United win the centenary FA Final

1972 S2 350: shared the same frame and dimension as the S1 with same colour and decal styles. Only the side panel number gives the game away.

In the UK Leeds United win the first division championship

Again shared the same colours and decals but for this Year the S2A receive a hydraulic front disk brake whilst the 250 continued with a drum, this would be the story for a few more years yet.

1974 S1B: Single colour-way in Green with a unique green colour decal, MACH 1 on side panel

In UK Liverpool win the FA Cup

1974 S3 400 takes over from the 350 and the engines look very different as does the exhaust system. Colours available: Candy Blue and Candy Red with contrasting decals to match, MACH 11 on side panel

In the UK Derby County win the first division companionship

1975: Last year of the S series MCH 1 & MACH 11 deleted from side panel

1975 S1C 250 only one colour available in Halibut Blue with blue decal.

In the UK West Ham United win the FA Cup

1975 S3A 400: two colour options Candy Super Red and Candy Green, decals were of different colours as well Red and Green. 

In the UK Liverpool win the first Division Championship.
