The decals are vinyl decals and do not wrap around the tank: the original colour scheme was painted.

1973 HID 500: candy lime only, MACH 111 and capacitor wording for the side panel with black and white stripes for the tail section.

1974 H1E 500: candy red and candy green colours, capacitor wording for the side panel as well as MACH 111

1975 H1F 500: last year of the H series 500 triple and penultimate year for the 500 triple. Colours offered candy sky blue, candy yellow and candy green. new Decal design that followed through to the tail unit, MACH 111 and other wording removed from side panel side panel.
